Mike on 20/05/2014 22:45:21 This a powerful mower that cuts and picks up well and I particularly like the second handle on the bottom of the grass box to aid emptying. The features I don't like are the short 10m lead (this mower is medium size for medium size lawns), the vents in the grass box lid that blow out fine grass all over the mower, the prominent height adjustment handle that catches under bushes, the flimsy start trigger that has a spongy feel, the width of the handle latches that scrape along walls, a grass full indicator which jams up with grass, the mower was not easy to assemble and the instruction book is very poor.

Dave on 11/06/2014 16:41:47 Mower only took 10 to 15 minutes to put together. Two issues, 1 the cable should be a least double the length (extension lead needed for my garden) and 2, the grass flap is a very poor fit on the grass box leading to a lot of grass cuttings spraying on top instead of inside the grass box!

David McCabe on 28/06/2014 22:43:17 I bought this mower today (28/06/14) having looked at the Hayter at £200 and the Bosch Rotak at £140. The main reason for my choosing it was the price - I only have a medium sized lawn and couldn't justify spending a lot of money. I read the reviews available on this mower and they were mainly negative due to the poor instruction manual. I have to say that I didn't open the manual at all and found assembly incredibly easy - the handle attached with four bolts and easy release handles and the only other two screws attach the wire frame to the grass basket. The only other items were two cable guides - very easy indeed. I also note that there was some speculation on replacement blades - just to clarify - Qualcast is now owned by Homebase who supply metal blades for about £18. The mower is built in China I believe which seems to offend some purists! It benefits from a central height adjustment handle and a mulching attachment. I haven't used it yet but I I have started it and would say it

Mick B on 03/06/2015 20:09:48 First time I tried one of these - I previously used a cylinder mower. The 10m cord is ridiculous - doesn't actually reach my lawn from the outlet in the house. Doesn't seem to cut the lawn properly, even on the lowest setting and leaves prominent wheel marks. Considering whether I should take it back, as it doesn't seem fit for purpose.
